Comment on “ Spurious fixed points in frustrated magnets , ” cond - mat / 0609285

چکیده
We critically discuss the arguments reported in cond-mat/0609285 by B. Delamotte, Yu. Holovatch, D. Ivaneyko, D. Mouhanna, and M. Tissier. We show that their conclusions are not theoretically founded. They are contradicted by theoretical arguments and numerical results. On the contrary, perturbative field theory provides a robust evidence for the existence of chiral fixed points in O(2) ⊗ O(N) systems with N ≥ 2. The three-dimensional perturbative results are consistent with theory and with all available experimental and Monte Carlo results. They provide a consistent scenario for the critical behavior of chiral systems. Typeset using REVTEX

Analysis of the 3d massive renormalization group perturbative expansions: a delicate case
The effectiveness of the perturbative renormalization group approach at fixed space dimension d in the theory of critical phenomena is analyzed. Three models are considered: the O(N) model, the cubic model and the antiferromagnetic model defined on the stacked triangular lattice. We consider all models at fixed d = 3 and analyze the resummation procedures currently used to compute the critical ...
متن کاملRelevance of the fixed dimension perturbative approach to frustrated magnets in two and three dimensions
We show that the critical behavior of twoand three-dimensional frustrated magnets cannot reliably be described from the known fiveand six-loop perturbative renormalization-group results. Our conclusions are based on a careful reanalysis of the resummed perturbative series obtained within the zero-momentum massive scheme. In three dimensions, the critical exponents for XY and Heisenberg spins di...
متن کاملComment on “quantum theory for mesoscopic electric circuits” cond-mat/9907171 and cond-mat/9606206
In references con-mat/9907171 and cond-mat/9606206 (Phys.Rev.B 53, 4927 (1996)) by You-Quan Li and Bin Chen, was considered a mesoscopic LC circuit with charge discreteness. So, it was proposed a finite difference Schrödinger equation for the charge time behavior. In this comment, we generalize the corresponding mesoscopic Hamiltonian in order to taken into account the dissipative effects (resi...
متن کاملDiffusion Poles and the Anderson Transition
In the recent series of papers (cond-mat/0402471, cond-mat/0403618, condmat/0407618, cond-mat/0501586), Janis and Kolorenc discussed the role of the diffision poles in the Anderson transition theory. Their picture contradicts the general principles and is shown below to be completely misleading. Correct setting of the problem is given and the contemporary situation is discussed. The critical re...
متن کاملReply to Comment by Alexandrov and Bratkovsky [cond-mat/0603467, cond-mat/0606366]
The submitted Comment is based on using an isolated quantum dot approach to discuss the situation where the coupling to the leads is considerable (not negligible). This finite lead coupling is the situation in most molecular transport junctions. In such situations the population on the molecule is not static and dynamical effects (fluctuations) are crucial. While the discussion in Ref. 2, and i...
